In Mid-Malaysia

The 200 kilometers radius from Kuala Lumpur starts north with Ipoh south, East towards Sungei Lembing, then south up to Labis. Within this segment of the Peninsula, adventurers will  gets most of the forests on the western slope of the Main Range. The tail end of which tapers at Central Negri Sembilan. On the eastern slope, Pahang state occupies the lion share. There are isolated mountain of Berembum in Pahang and Ledang in Johore State.

Among all the regions, those who have opportunity of setting out from Kuala Lumpur are the luckiest. There are abundant potential sites - all within a 2 hours drive. Kuala Lumpur in Klang Valley has the hill slopes at its fringes and over the peak.
