Bekut Falls
Bekut Falls is a cascade type waterfall situated on a boulder landscape stream. Due to its boulder landscape, the waterfall scene is less defined and tricky to scale via river trek. The waterfall has 2 levels with the lower level shown here with a moderate sized but deep pool. This waterfall is NOT suitable for beginners to attempt without a guide due to its challenging landscape and vague jungle trails.
Head to Chenderiang town as the main landmark nearby. Do be aware that Chenderiang town does not have a direct access from the North-South Highway. Visitors from the north will have to exit the highway early at Gopeng exit and access Jln Chenderiang (Route A119) from Jeram town. Visitors from the south will on the other hand exit the highway via Tapah exit and use Jln Chenderiang Lama (Route A19). Follow this state road up to the junction going into Kg Orang Asli Sg Cincin. (Image 1) After taking the junction in, follow the narrow tarred road where it leads to the village. Take the left junction in where it passes a village townhall building. Follow this stretch of gravel road where visitors will reach the start of the trail head where there is a right junction to enter into a palm oil estate right before the bridge (here). Visitors can look for parking spaces by the road shoulder without obstructing passing vehicles that share the road. Proceed by foot from here on out.
