Panther Falls is a quiet waterfall located deep within orchard valleys of Kenaboi region. Popularized by local eco tour camp operators that frequent the place with round trips by 4x4 vehicles, it is also known as Jeram Panther. It has a 2-tier drop (a smaller top tier cascade) with chest deep pool. This waterfall is not suitable for beginners to attempt by themselves due to the numerous unmarked trails. Beginners are advised to join guided tours by local Kenaboi camp/chalet operators in the region.

Panther Fall

Head to Kg Chennah as the landmark. (here) At the mini roundabout, take the junction towards Kg Esok and Kg Dusun Kubur. At the t-junction, keep going straight to Kg Dusun Kubur.(Image 1.) Visitors will pass a small narrow bridge before reaching the main village. There is basically no parking spaces after the village, on route between orchards or near the waterfall due to the very narrow double track. (even avoiding oncoming traffic is a serious problem) Hence visitors should seek permission at the village before parking at empty spaces beside the road and NOT attempt to drive inwards. Proceed by foot from here on out.

Pass thru the center of the village going towards the rear area where a small tadika school is located. At the forked junction (Image 2.) take the right path going uphill. Follow the main double track gravel road where visitors will pass durian orchards before arriving at a muddy t-junction area. (Image 3.) Take the left junction down where beyond a small camp clearing the waterfall will be visible.

Exploration Notes : There is a possibility that there are more waterfall levels upriver but it is not verified.
