Teril Falls consist of 2 levels of waterfalls in shady surroundings. It has a rather low amount of water flow during our visit but could be more impressive during wet seasons. Situated at the borders of the palm oil estate in the area, the trail to reach the waterfall is not long but is vague and some bushwhacking is required as it is barely visited. NOT suitable for beginners to attempt without guidiance.

Teril Fall 2

Head to Slim River town as the landmark. Near the administrative complex & Slim river, there is a junction that leads to Ulu Slim region. From the south, it is also possible to access from Behrang Stesen and Tanjung Malim. Follow the main road all the way till arriving at Kg Slim Village. Near the Sg Slim river, there is a junction (Image 1) that leads to inner Ulu Slim region. Follow the main tarred road up to the final junction where there is a right turn (Image 2) to a dirt road path which leads to the river. Down by the river there is a clearing where visitors can park without obstructing passing traffic.

From here, proceed by foot across the metal bridge crossing Sg Slim river. The dual track road leads into an oil palm estate. Follow this path in up to a junction (here) where visitors can take the left path. A short distance further, there is a faint junction going to the river on the left. River trek the rest of the way to the waterfall. Pictured below is the 1st waterfall visitors will find.(Image 3) Teril Fall 2 is a semi tall but zig-zag waterfall just upriver from the 1st waterfall.
