Kundor Falls is a waterfall series situated upriver of Damak Falls. Damak Falls is formed by 2 tributaries, Sg Damak on the right & Sg Kundor on the left. It is on this left tributary where this waterfall series is found. 4 waterfalls have been documented, a small 1st fall, a wide sloped 2nd and a tall 3rd fall with a small pool.(pictured below) A final 4th tall fall have been documented by Jan back in 2014.
Unlike the Damak Falls, this waterfall is NOT suitable for beginners. The trail is vague and rarely visited, some sections require river trekking as well.

Kundor Fall 3

The trailhead of Kundor Falls is situated deep within jungle valleys of Gopeng. From Gopeng town, visitors can head towards Gaharu Tea Valley as the landmark which is situated at Kg. Sg Itek. Proceed along the main tarred road (which is slightly narrow) up to a Y-junction. Take the right junction here (Image 1.) across the bridge to proceed inwards. Along the route, visitors will pass many nature resorts and outdoor campsites; one of them is Sementra Nature Resort. Pass this resort that is situated within oil palm estates where the tarred road turns into single path going towards orang asli villages. Near the entrance of Kg Orang Asli Tonggang where the river is visible are some huts and spaces for parking (here).(Image 2.) They are not many parking spaces, ensure to park without obstructing passing vehicles or ask for permission from the nearest villager if parking within the compound of village houses. From here proceed by foot pass the village up to the next junction (Image 3.) Take the right junction to proceed inwards to the oil palm estate trail.

The estate trail leads up the hill slope and ends up at a river confluence.(Image 4.) An old logging trail is visible opposite the stream. Follow this trail uphill where there is a T-junction visible. The right path used to be an open clearing. Here is where it gets tough and bushwhacking is required to join back down to the river where the 1st waterfall is found.(Image 5)
To proceed to the upper fall, visitors will have to river trek/river side trek the rest of the way.
