Gemenseh Fall is a tall vertical fall with a 2 tier drop. The lower tier has a small sized pool while the top tier is a shallow sandbed. It is believe to be a beautiful scenic fall with multiple tiers before the disastrous flash flood struck back in Dec 2021 that vastly changed its landscape. Water quality has remained cloudy ever since and the riverbed is heavily silted with sand. The powerful force of the flash flood has also uprooted and washed down plenty of wood debris. Due to these circumstances, the trail is technical and requires river trekking most of the time. This waterfall is not recommended for begineers.

Head to Hutan Lipur Jeram Toi as the landmark. Its access junction is signposted clearly.(Image 1) Proceed along the road till arriving near a storm tunnel.(Image 2) There are plenty of parking spaces along the road shoulder. Park without obstructing passing traffic.

Proceed by foot down into the storm tunnel. Swallows and bats have made their home in this long dark tunnel. At the end of it cascades can be seen and heard. Proceed along the right side of the stream to hike upstream. The river trek will scale some smaller cascades and criss-cross across the river depending on obstacles faced. On the left a smaller tributary stream will have an easier trail that leads to a clearing. There are signs that there has been recreational activities in the past with one of the trees signposted with number "5". The small tributary stream has a waterfall of its own. A small multi-cascade fall with waters trickling down from the steep rock face. Continue upriver on the main stream and the waterfall will be in sight.
