Kelit Falls
Kelit Falls is a medium height 3-tier cascade waterfall near the village main access road. It is located in an area with steep cliffs and bouldery river landscape. There are no big pools here, only some shallow ones suitable for soaking. There is no trail here, beginners are NOT encouraged to attempt this waterfall as technical river trekking is involved.
Head to Batu Malim town as the landmark. At the center of the town before reaching Tersang, take the junction towards Klinik Desa Ulu Sungai.(Image 1) Proceed along the main road until arriving at the Kg Kelit entrance junction. (here) Take the junction in and proceed inward on the tarred narrow road to a clearing within an oil palm plantation.(here) The trail starts from here leading to the river. River trek up the stream and pass a rocky boulder section. Directly after the boulders section, the waterfalls will be in view.
"Rubbish exist when there is an imbalance of those willing to take action." If you plan to visit this waterfall, do bring a plastic bag along. In the event there is rubbish left by irresponsible individuals, you can contribute and do our part to keep nature's paradise clean. Thank you~
