Jeram Belau
Jeram Belau is a series of low height cascade falls near Broga town. There is a high amount of sand sediment and the stream is also heavily tapped by local village folk. Plenty of water pipes is visible along the stream. The main waterfall has waters cascading down a sloped rock hill, forming a shallow sandy pool at its base.
Head towards Broga town and proceed to the Sak Dato Temple. Beside the temple there is a smaller village road on the left. (Image 1) Take this junction and proceed inwards towards Excel Training & Country Resorts. Take the left junction upon reaching the end of the road right at the training center guard house. Proceed along the dirt track till arriving at an oil palm estate. At the borders of the palm oil estate there is 2 junctions. Take the left junction. Visitors can start to look for empty clearings to safely park their vehicles without obstructing local residences as the road is narrow and one way only. There might not be ample spaces for parking and large groups are advised to park further out.
Exploration Notes : Hiked upriver but found that it starts to get rather boulder-ful. Nothing interesting found up to 340m elevation.
