Air Terjun Tasik Puteri
Tasik Puteri Waterfall is a man-made waterfall that receives its water source from the adjacent Puteri Lake. The Puteri Lake itself is a man-made lake that used to be an open-pit mining site for iron ore from as far back to the early 19th century. The waterfall cascades down a rocky cliff into a large & deep pool. There is a shallow section as well downriver where tiered pools are designed for children. Basic facilities like huts, campsite area, food stalls, prayer rooms & toilet amenities are available around the area. There are no entry fees imposed to visit this waterfall and it can be quite crowded during weekends. Suitable for beginners.
Head to the UiTM Bukit Besi as the landmark. The Tasik Puteri recreational park is easy to find and available on google maps.
It take less than 5 mins to reach the falls from the carpark.
