Tenggelam Falls consist of 4 waterfalls. The 1st fall is easily accessible via a clear double track offroad trail. It is a fan type waterfall with a mid sized pool suitable for soaking. Fall 3 pictured here is a simple yet attractive waterfall with a large deep pool. The 3 falls upriver require river/riverside trekking to reach.

Head to Tapah town as the landmark. The access trail is situated on an unmarked offroad trail located at 4.246893, 101.303019 (Image 1.) After a short distance in, there is a clearing on the right where visitors can park. There is no parking further in and the trail is narrow and difficult to u-turn. Large groups are advised to park without obstructing passing vehicles.

By foot, follow the double track trail where visitors will pass some orang asli durian orchards. Keep on the clear main trail till arriving near a bridge. The 1st fall is here. While easy accessible, the 1st fall is technically situated within forest reserve boundaries. Visitors will pass a forestry signboard and 3 red lines marking on the tree indicating this. To visit the upper levels of the fall, it is highly recommended to hire a guide and apply for a permit.
