Meranti Falls
Meranti falls consist of 5 cascade type waterfalls. The main fall 3 is the tallest with a continuous flow down a sloped rock mountain. There are only small soaking pools and the wet sloped surfaces can be rather slippery.
Head to Persiaran Meranti Utara housing estate in Serendah as the landmark. The road junction is not marked well with only a small signboard that is easy to miss. Proceed on the main road till the arrival of a small hut on the left.(Photo 1) There is a golf course here on the left and the right. Parking space is limited here and sometimes visitors park by the side of the road. Park without obstructing passing traffic. Follow the paved golf course path till the very end of its borders. Visitors will cross a small bridge and reach by a stream. Cross the stream and follow the semi-clear trail on the right of the river. With not much effort, fall 3 will be in sight.
At the top of the fall 3, visitors can cross the river and use the granite stone paved trail to reach fall 5. There are signs of development in the past with stairs step path that ends at a collapsed rest hut.
