The first part of the trail to the Sg Luit falls is the same as to Bukit Kutu and Lata Medang. You start from Kg Pertak and cross the Sg Luit on a ramshackle bridge. A few hundred meter after this crossing there is a fork, where you keep left. The right trail leads to Bukit Kutu. Not far after this fork you can hear a waterfall. This is Lata Jebus, reachable via a short side trail
Crossing Sg Luit
Keep left here
Lata Jebus
The trail continues until a second fork where you keep left again, the right fork leads to Lata Medang. The trail is clear and follows the Luit river, until you reach a Lubuk with a nice pool. If you are adventurous you can trek the river from here, but there is also a recent trail.
At this fork again keep left
The Lubuk
A small attractive fall
Following the trail you could easily miss the next waterfall, not large, but beautiful. Finally the trail reaches Lata Makau. A real beauty. An Olympic size pool invites for a refreshing bath. When you scramble up the slope to the right side of the fall, you can reach the next fall, around the corner. And there might be more, further upstream.
Impressive Lata Makau
Powerful, with a huge pool
Just around the corner another fall

went there on 15-16/6/2013 with 13 persons.3 hours trails, please do always refill ur bottle when u see any stream. the trail is more to hiking, 7km away. however, the end camp site is call KEM BMW.a 20mins from the lata makau waterfall but its full of bees. be prepared with insect repellent. the journey to lata makau from the campsite is full of bamboo trees fallen due to land slides. we found the waterfall by jumped thru the rocks.
its a uphill trail and a bit difficult with all bamboo trees falled and slow our path. nice and cool view. be aware of slippery rock as hard to find any human tracking there.totaly unspoiled area.

It takes about 2 hours to reach Sg Luit Falls. The trail takes you to the river and you need to river trek another 300m or so. You can also trek down the river to reach some waterfalls that are inaccessible from the trail.
