The Word "penang" is similiar in sound to "Pinang" or Betel Nut in Malay.

The island with its scenic beaches is further complimented by its historical sites in metropolitan Georgetown. Play in the day, eat and shop in the night.

A truly magnificent place for a holiday, not to miss out mentioning that hawker's food in Penang is the best around this region

Though the State is divided into the island and mainland. There is not much wilderness left for the so-called adventure seekers.

Perhaps with a paradigm shift, you will see that Penang is an island that is full of hiking trails. The most patronized [for senior citizen - 84] - some codes to decipher.

These trails are your readily available destinations to do your adventure. For nature lovers, the walk up Penang Hills will bring you into many interesting encounters. Birds, Pitcher Plants and insects.
