Exploring the State of

Kelantan -A cultural State

Carefully kept in the north-eastern corner, this state is known for it being a cradle of Malay culture.

Kelantan means "Land of Lightning's " with a population of 1.5 millions people renounced for their friendliness and warmth. They are proud to have preserved their age-old customs. This is evident by the popularity of traditional arts, crafts and pass times

The interstate Highway 8 from Gua Musang to Kuala Krai passes through many interesting destinations.

The valley is sandwiched between 2 highlands draining  large rivers flowing down from the Main Range. Many activities like caving and white water rafting are being promoted.

Each stop made along the highway to look a little bit beyond is a Jungle trekking activities. Adventure starts from Merapoh and ending only in Kuala Krai.

Then other inland roads leads west across the Main Range and a dedicated road especially to the Stong Waterfalls. Actually it is a portion of the parallel road on the western banks of the Galas River

These are the Waterfalls we have catalogued so far.
More will be added as and when I find time to visit them.
