The Rice Bowl State - Kedah

Kedah - one of the oldest State in the peninsula has a population of 1.5 millions

The unique feature of the state is its rice fields. From a brilliant green in the planting season to golden yellow. With double and triple cropping practiced, this scene is an ever changing event.

With heavy rainfall, Kedah has some spectacular seasonal waterfalls. The same waterfalls while at times loosing its lustre is still available the whole year round

The hills here are not high and can be reached within an hours drive.

The few potential places are Jerai, Langkawai and inland on the road towards Baling.
