Adventure outings to waterfalls

Many traditional waterfalls and their surroundings by now have become victims of modernization.

Enlarging population demands more development . New projects had intruded into the previously pristine countryside.

Those going outdoor regularly, charged with high ideals of seeking out dramatic falls, will find many traditional falls unimpressive. They have degenerated into an utility to the park users instead of a work of art.

Many waterfalls are in the danger of loosing their original beauty. I measured such beauty by its surroundings and volume of water that passes through.

The situation changes by the months. Hurry - that that first hand look for yourself first before they all loose that natural heritage !

Some of our experiences you may like to consider.

At the beginning stage, I would complied names of waterfalls for our "check it out" excursions. However, after a while, it became clear that seeking adventures is a more rewarding pass time. Focus changed. Our group switched to activities of discovering new places, to trek in the wild and writing travelogues.

One thing leads to another. More experiences means greater expectations. We began probing deeper into less trodden forested area "Seek waterfalls in its unspoiled state" that was the target.

The agony of long hours trekking through forested terrain was well rewarded in more than one way. The book on rivers expresses our sentiments over the activities on the banks. Not only in the wilderness, but also the urban jungle.

I have a good collection of photographs - diversify into plants and flowers.

If you are starting of with waterfall as a theme for your outings, Please be cautioned, there are not many waterfalls that can be considered as unknown, only way to gauge is "How often are they visited?"
