Hopper There are over 5,000 species of hoppers. It is actually a type of Lice. Although they gather in groups but their numbers are too small to be considered as harmful pest. These insects measuring about 5 mm long, feed on tree saps and are noted for theyre jumping ability. Most species takes on fanciful shapes; an example is the species shown in this picture.
They are pure white and individually resemble a Cockerel. The many spines it has on its body, and collectively projected the profile we see bring this about. It is hard to see how such ornamentals benefit the insect. |
