Peninsula Malaysia

Malaysia as a  country is made up of 2 land masses.

The western part of the country is the Peninsula that extends south from the Asia Continent, starting with the Isthmus of Kra.

The eastern part of the country is made up of states on the northern edge of Borneo Island.

Located in tropical climate with lush rainfalls, the land has countless number of waterfalls for us to catalogue. However with limited resources, we have to confine our search for those waterfalls located on the Mainland.

Incidentally, the Peninsula, we have referred to constantly, is an area denoted by the orange landmass on the left side of the map!

There are 11 States on the Peninsula, with another demarcated piece of territory known as Federal capital of Kuala Lumpur.

When it comes to places with waterfalls, perhaps it is easier to mention that only 2 lowland states, Malacca and Perlis located in coastal  plains, that do not tall hills that support waterfalls.
