Teho Fall is a 2 tier horsetail fall with a rather low drop of about 3m. Unlike the usual pattern of waterfalls, the water cascades down into a rock platform base before flowing into a large waist deep pool. Above the fall is a low height sloped cascade. This waterfall does not have a clear trail and is not suitable for beginners.

Head to Sungkai town as the landmark. Near the center of the town is a Petron station that leads to the inner region of Ulu Sungkai.(Image 1) Proceed inwards along the main tarred road towards National Wildlife Rescue Centre. A narrow road on the right of it leads to several indigenous villages. Continue along the tarred road till close to a clearing on the right alongside the river.(here) Visitors are advised to park nearby the clearing off the road shoulder without obstructing traffic. It is NOT possible to drive across the metal bridge elevated above the Sg. Sungkai river as it has a barrier gate and is kept locked.

Proceed by foot across the metal bridge into the oil palm estate. There are jungle trails here used by the indigenous villagers but it can be confusing with many junctions. The trail connects to the Sg Teho river. From here on, it is a mix of river & river side trekking to reach Teho Fall.

Exploration Notes : Upriver, no additional falls have been found other than some low height cascades.
