Misai falls consist of 5 major falls with several sub-tiers at each level. All the falls are cascade type waterfalls with variable sizes of waist deep pool. There is no prominent main fall here although the 5th fall can be considered the tallest one of the series. It is located deep in a secluded jungle with a high presence of leeches. A guide is recommended as the jungle trail is faint.

Misai Fall 4

To reach this waterfall, visitors have to use the Tanjong Ipoh - Langkap Route N135 access road.(Image 1) Proceed along the main road and before reaching the Talang Dam, take the right junction to the bridge going across the Muar river.(Image 2) Follow this well maintained tarred road till arriving at Kg. Langkap. There is a wide parking space here for vehicles to park without obstructing the road.

Proceed via foot till arriving at a small bridge. Opposite the bridge is an oil palm estate. There are several junctions here and it can be confusing. Take a right AFTER the bridge crossing to enter a durian orchard.(Image 3) From the orchard there are foot trails that will lead to the river. The jungle trail from here on is faint and a guide is recommended. A mix of river side trail and river hike will finally reach the final 5th fall.
