Parit Fall

The Parit Fall is one of the two waterfalls that can be found in the Cameron Highlands. Compared to Robinsons Fall it is the smaller one. Access is easy, as trail nr 4 leads to the fall. This trail starts from the Century Pines Resort to the road near the Old Smokehouse. Not far from the fall a side trail leads uphill to a watch tower from which you have a nice view of the Cameron Highlands

The trail is clearly signposted and well-paved

The path follows the small Sungei Bertam

From both sides of the trail, the fall can be reached in less than half an hour. As the stream collects quite a lot of rubbish, the fall can not be called a pristine one, but the location itself is attractive. There is a small pool, but because of this rubbish, it does not really invite to take a bath...

A bridge has been built to cross the stream.

I visited this waterfall in July 2012 and was quite disappointed. It is very small, the water is brown and there is quite a bit of rubbish. Also the bridge is broken.

The falls is way too dirty, you can see many trash near the falls, alot plastic bags, anyone go there will feel disappointed,Not reccommedated for visitor,i think Century Pine resort and Smokehouse management should inform the relevant department to clean that seriously polluted place,as it is their place of interest for visitor too.
